Persulfate is the newest oxidant that is being used for in the remediation of soil and groundwater.

Compared with (ferrous + hydrogen peroxide) and potassium permanganate (easy to produce drugs and explosive products under the supervision of public security), sodium persulfate has much better safety and convenience in storage and transportation.

As a new oxidation agent, activated sodium persulfate has the advantages of high stability, high water solubility, no peculiar smell, and can have a relatively strong oxidation capacity in a large pH range, can adapt to most of the scene to degrade pollutants. Activated sodium persulfate can be oxidized and degraded in the face of chlorinated organics, chlorine-containing pesticides and hard-to-degrade organics, so it has a wide range of application and can effectively repair a variety of contaminated soils. 

The use method of activated sodium persulfate oxidation agent is also relatively simple, just inject activated sodium persulfate into the ground, can achieve the removal of harmful substances in the soil, compared with other soil remediation methods, activated sodium persulfate use method is relatively simple, the cost is also lower.
